What is WINO PAM®?
WINO PAM INJ. from Carewin Pharmaceuticals (marketed by Ridus Pharmaceuticals) contains Pralidoxime Iodide, an antidote used primarily in the treatment of poisoning caused by organophosphorus pesticides and chemicals (like nerve gases). It is also used to treat overdose of certain medications used to treat myasthenia gravis. Pralidoxime works by reactivating the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, which is inhibited by these toxic substances, thereby helping to restore normal nerve and muscle function.
